Digital File Guidelines

TOTALLY CREATIVE GRAPHIC STUDIO uses IMACS and MACBOOKS. However, we can accept PC files as long as we are provided a hard copy of your artwork for reference.

• All images must be CMYK, Grayscale or bitmap modes (DIGITAL PRINTING MACHINE).

• All images must be in Adobe RGB format for Large Format Indoor Printer.

• Photoshop EPS, TIFF, or JPEG files have to be 300 dpi, actual size or larger. Bitmap files should be 600 to 1200 dpi. If 72 dpi files are sent they will print out pixelated.

• We CANNOT use images from web pages. In the same way, we CANNOT use copyright images, designs, photos, and licensed materials without permission from the owner or licensee.

• All bleeds must be a minimum of 1/8”.

• You must supply all the artwork and placed/linked files.

• You must supply all fonts or convert fonts to outline. Include both the screen and printer driver version of each font. We recommend using Postscript fonts instead of TrueType fonts. PC users must convert fonts to outline.

• Files must be submitted on a cd and accompanied by a hard copy proof, send by email. Please verify that your cd has copied the information correctly by reinserting it into your computer to check before you send.

Software:

We currently accept layout files in the following software:

• InDesign

• Illustrator

• Photoshop

• Adobe Acrobat (PDF)

• We can accept Microsoft Word and Power Point files for use as layout reference only.

• We CANNOT accept Microsoft Publisher files.

Media:

We currently accept the following media:

• CD, 100mb, DVD or USB media.
